Most important beaches in Cabo Roig:

Cala Capitán

The Cala Capitán, 187 metres long, has a blue flag since 2003, as well as lifeguard services, showers, sand cleaning, small wooden beach bar, sun loungers and parasols. The next beach to the north is Cala del Bosque (also called Cala de La Zenia), and the next beach to the south is Cabo Roig Beach.

The Cala Capitán, located in the northern part of Cabo Roig, is a cove that is characterized by its asymmetry. Visually it looks like a beach wider than longer, because when you reach the main access to the beach you see 83 meters wide from the beginning of the sand until you reach the sea, but you cannot see how the beach continues along the cape.

Cabo Roig Beach

337 meters long and 43 meters wide, what else can we say? The semicircular natural bay has been completed with a small breakwater, the small marina of Cabo Roig, the historic watchtower and the limits of the villas built to the edge of the cliff.

One of the greatest characteristics of this beach is its incredible combination of colors. Descending along the reddish slope of the cliff, the roasted sand awaits at the end of the road as if it were a prize, bathed in the bluish water of a tranquil Mediterranean. The green bursts with the wild vegetation in the places where the orography minimally allows it, even among the same sand of the beach. All this surrounded by the special luminosity of the Alicante coast, with its practically perennial warm rays of the sun and its clear and clear sky.
