Dehesa de Campoamor, better known as Campoamor, is a village which is located in the district Orihuela Costa in the municipality of Orihuela.
It is one of the most important locations of Costa Blanca, specifically located between Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada. Playa de la Glea
La Glea beach is one of the most popular beaches in the Dehesa de Campoamor urbanization and the municipality of Orihuela Costa. It has 513 meters in length and more than 60 meters in width. In addition, the configuration of the buildings that surround it (low houses of no more than two heights) give it a greater sense of spaciousness.
At one of its ends, this beach narrows and joins the Aguamarina beach. This link allows a great walk of more than a kilometer very popular among all the people that go to this beach.
The bath at La Glea beach is great for all ages. It is also the beach of the urbanization with the largest number of water activities to practice. Floating Castles for kids, parasailing or jetski rental are the most popular ones.
Playa de Aguamarina:
Aguamarina beach is another of the main tourist attractions in the area. It has all kinds of services and a Marina to travel the coast offshore. It has 500 meters long and 29 meters wide of fine white sand. Despite being a beach with calm waters, it has a lifeguard service.
Playa de Barranco Rubio
This beach is located at the mouth of the ravine of the same name and is the first beach of the urbanization if you come from El Pilar de la Horadada. Its characteristics make it ideal to spend long afternoons in it, both in summer and winter: Its sands are fine and white and it also has all the necessary services to be able to supply the great summer demand.
The beach of Barranco Rubio is very extensive. It begins next to the Puerto Deportivo de Campoamor and extends along the promenade. It is more than 700 meters long and about 54 meters wide. The long walks along it are a classic because, in addition, it connects through a walkable path with the beach of Las Mil Palmeras.
Thanks to its location, its waters are calm and its waves are usually of low height. The depth is the most progressive among all the beaches of Campoamor, which makes the Barranco Rubio beach ideal for the kids bath, always under supervision

Enjoy Golf
Las Lomas de Campoamor is probably the most important golf field in Campoamor. This golf course has been challenging experienced golfers since 1988 when it was inaugurated as Real Club de Golf Campoamor by HRH D. Juan de Borbón. The course emerged from the wild beauty of Dehesa de Campoamor between two interconnected valleys surrounded by small hillocks that protect it from the wind, which generates a microclimate that enables the practice of golf any time of year.

Campoamor has a really good culture of beach clubbing. Places like Jardines del Mar or Las Colinas Beach Club are perfect to enjoy a non-typical day of summer.
Local Market
The Campoamor local market is held every non-holiday Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Calle Fuego in the Aguamarina urbanization. It has about 180 stalls where you can find fruits and vegetables, food, bags, clothes, footwear and accessories, jewelry, decoration, home, crafts, flowers and plants at really good prices.
