Villamartin Golf club.
This wonderful Golf Course was designed in 1972 by the Golf Legend Robert Dean Puttman. Villamartín golf club has a large community of players from all across Europe who chose the surroundings of this stunning golf course as their place of residence. Thus, they can continue to play golf and incorporate it in their everyday lifes.
Experts say that according to its design, it is one of the best in all Spain. The greens at Villamartín are of international quality, with very popular holes such as hole 17, a par 3 surrounded with Mediterranean pines and a rambla you must cross to arrive at the very generous green.
Las Ramblas Golf club.
Designed by the prestigious Pepe Gancedo and inaugurated in 1991, this golf course was built into a beautiful landscape of Mediterranean pines and natural watercourses. This environment fascinates many players as they see this course as a challenge for their game. The greens are large and generous, with quick and gentle slopes.
La Finca Golf club.
Also designed by Pepe Gancedo, this magnificient Golf Course was opened in August 2002.
The spectacular views all around this course makes it one of the best golf courses in Spain. The greens at La Finca are totally different from each other, of varied shapes and singular beauty, some of them being famous: the 7th hole, is a square shape with large dimensions, resembles an English bowls green; and at hole 14, this isround and deep, reminiscent of the shape of a Chinese wok.
La Finca golf course has been the venue of several prestigious tournaments since its opening, such as: the Junior European Championship, the Spanish Junior Championship and the finals of Audi Class and Audi Quattro circuits, for amateur golfers. At a professional level, La Finca golf course has hosted qualifying for the EPD Tour as well as the Valencian Community professional circuit.
Las Colinas Golf and Country Club.
Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is located 10km from the beaches of Orihuela Costa. The club has been awarded “Best Golf Course in Spain” at the World Golf Awards, as well as the “Best Resort Villas” in the World Travel Awards, in the edition of 2015. Its undulating hills and gentle valleys allow players of all levels to enjoy its 18-hole par 71 course, as well as the amenities offered by the resort, its golf academy or the driving range.
